Happy feet is divided into several sections. At the beginning, usually we start with an exercise focusing on lengthening the body in all directions at the same time. Using our own ways of moving we pass through three different stages: pausing, moving and dancing. Our goal here is to bring the body and mind together, so that we start concentrating strictly on the work we do. Once the body gets warm, we go for it fully, exercising the stamina, coordination of different parts of the body, playing with the muscle tension, floor-air connection, spins, rotations and jumps. The aim is to get the accessible, articulated and virtuosic body. We conclude the class by refreshing all the materials that has been taught, combining it into the Happy feet exercise, which is also the biggest dancing part of the class.
"The body is a beautiful and incredibly complex instrument.  I love when technique meets performing, when creativity goes hand in hand with the discipline. In other words, without forgeting the technique while improvising we aim to stay free and fresh while manifesting the same exercise."
